Recap: El Dorado Wildcats vs. Collegiate Spartans

The El Dorado Wildcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their 11th straight loss. They received a tough blow as they fell 74-58 to Collegiate. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for El Dorado in their matchups with Collegiate: they've now lost four in a row.

Despite the loss, El Dorado still got an impressive performance from Logan Garner, who scored 31 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Garner has scored all season. Chase Lesh was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with six rebounds and four blocks.

Even though they lost, El Dorado were working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

El Dorado dropped their record down to 1-11 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. That rough patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.5 points per game. As for Collegiate, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-4-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. El Dorado will take on Circle at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Collegiate, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Mulvane at 7:00 p.m.
