Basketball Recap: Minnesota State Academy for the Deaf Takes a Loss

Minnesota State Academy for the Deaf was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 41-28 to the Wisconsin School for the Deaf Firebirds. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Trojans of the 50-24 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.

Minnesota State Academy for the Deaf's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Wisconsin School for the Deaf, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Kansas School for the Deaf the next time they take the court. Wisconsin School for the Deaf will head out to face Kansas School for the Deaf at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, while Minnesota State Academy for the Deaf will play them later in the day, at 6:30 p.m.
