Basketball Recap: Emmett Now 5-1 over Last Six Games

Emmett had won two straight home games and Natalie Goslin did her part to make it three on Thursday. The Emmett Huskies were the clear victor by a 47-26 margin over the Vallivue Falcons thanks in part to Goslin, who almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine boards. She has been hot for a while, having posted nine or more rebounds the last 11 times she's played.

Emmett has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 8-10 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.8 points per game. As for Vallivue, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13.

Coincidentally, Emmett and Vallivue will both be playing Middleton the next time they take the court. Vallivue will host Middleton at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while Emmett will host them at 7:30 p.m. on January 31st.
