Softball Recap: King Kekaulike Comes Up Short in High-Profile Game with Maui

King Kekaulike faced Maui in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Na Ali'i fell just short of the Sabers by a score of 5-4. The Na Ali'i were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Sabers earlier this season, when they won 11-3.

Hilina'I Kuala'Au-Abbey was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI.

This is the second loss in a row for King Kekaulike and nudges their season record down to 8-4. As for Maui, the win got them back to even at 6-6.

As of now, neither King Kekaulike nor the Sabers have any future games scheduled.
