Basketball Game Preview: Otis Bulldogs vs. Hanover Hornets

The Otis Bulldogs will square off against the Hanover Hornets at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Otis is coming into the match hot, having won their last 17 games.

Otis saw some tournament action on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 59-38 margin over Arickaree. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 contests by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Hanover lost to Kit Carson at home by a 41-27 margin on Saturday. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Loss or not, Hanover got some senior leadership from Junior Diaz and Tyler Decker. Diaz posted 14 points in addition to six steals and five boards, while Decker put up eight points and eight steals. That's the most steals Diaz has posted since back in December of 2024.

Otis' victory bumped their record up to 19-2. As for Hanover, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-9.
