            The Anderson Cubs and the Lassen Grizzlies will meet  on Thursday for a tough Bear Battle.
Having struggled with five  losses in a row, Anderson  turned things around against West Valley  on Tuesday. The two teams finished up on equal footing with  a  2-2 draw. The result was nothing new for the Cubs as the   squad haven't won a game since December 9, 2024.
 Manuel Gallardo and  Ameer Mulla scored both of Anderson's goals,  bringing their combined season tally to 11 goals.
 Meanwhile, Lassen hadn't done well against Yreka recently (they were 0-8-1 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way  on Tuesday. Lassen won by a  goal and slipped past Yreka  2-1. The score was all tied up  1-1 at the break, but the Grizzlies were the  better team in the second half.
 Lassen is  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four games,  which provided a massive bump to their 4-5 record  this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  scored 12  goals over those four  matches. With that  draw, Anderson's record moves to 4-7-2.
 Everything went Anderson's way against Lassen when the teams last played  back in February of 2024, as Anderson made off with  a  4-1 victory. Will Anderson repeat their success,  or does  Lassen have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
