Softball Recap: Peoria Christian Chargers vs. Galva Wildcats
Peoria Christian took care of business in their home opener on Thursday (and then some). They were the clear victor by a 9-2 margin over the Galva Wildcats. That's more bragging rights for Peoria Christian, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
For Galva's part, they got a good showing from Amber Plummer, who struck out six batters over 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.
Galva's defeat was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-1.
