Baseball Recap: Sidwell Friends Comes Up Short

Sidwell Friends suffered their closest loss since April 13, 2024 on Thursday. They fell just short of the Flint Hill Huskies by a score of 9-7. The Quakers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Huskies earlier this season, when they won 4-3.

Sidwell Friends' defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 7-2. As for Flint Hill, their victory was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-4.

Coming up, Sidwell Friends will face off against School Without Walls at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Flint Hill, they will take on Episcopal at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
