Basketball Recap: Encinal Comes Up Short

Encinal lost against San Lorenzo back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Encinal Jets fell 66-59 to the San Lorenzo Grizzlies. The Jets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Encinal's loss dropped their record down to 9-11. As for San Lorenzo, their win bumped their record up to 13-9.

Encinal will head out to challenge Alameda at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Alameda will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Encinal surely won't give up without a fight. As for San Lorenzo, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Mt. Diablo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. San Lorenzo is facing Mt. Diablo at the right time seeing as Mt. Diablo is stuck on a 20-game losing streak.
