            Bay hasn't had much luck against Greene County recently, but that could start to change  on Friday. The Tigers will look to defend their home field  against the Wildcats  at 7:00  p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Fans were treated to a battle of the Tigers  on Friday. Bay was just a  hair shy of victory  and fell  14-13 to Moss Point.

Despite the  defeat, Bay saw an underclassman step up: sophomore  Que Victor rushed for 156 yards and one  score. Those 156  rushing yards set a new season-high mark for  Victor.
 Even if they lost, Bay's defense still kept up the pressure with three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess:  Dekaiden Johnson,  Niyjah Abbott,  and  Aidan Sudduth, who each picked up one  sack apiece.
Meanwhile, Greene County didn't have quite enough to beat Presbyterian Christian on Friday and fell  44-41.
 The match pitted two dominant  signal callers against one another in  Gage Stinson and  Smith Stringer. Stringer had a great game and threw for 353 yards and five  TDs. Meanwhile,  Stinson was balling out in the loss, throwing for 160 yards and one  touchdown while completing 71.4% of his passes, and also punching in one rushing score.
 Greene County's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Bay, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.
 Bay was dealt a bruising  54-19 loss at the hands of Greene County in their previous matchup  back in October of 2024. That  matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Tigers were down  28-7.
