Moffat won the last time they faced Lake City, and Preston Heater did his part to make sure it happened again. The Moffat Cowboys put the hurt on Lake City with a sharp 62-41 victory on Saturday thanks in part to Heater, who dropped a double-double on 28 points and 12 steals. The contest was his fourth in a row with at least 16 points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Tulasi McBride, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 12 boards. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in assists (six).

Moffat's win bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Lake City, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Moffat will venture away from home to challenge Creede at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Moffat has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Lake City does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
