Baseball Game Preview: Houston Hurricanes vs. Rushford-Peterson Trojans

Houston is 0-10 against Rushford-Peterson since April of 2015 but things could change on Saturday. The Hurricanes will take on the Trojans at 10:00 a.m. Houston has given up an average of 7.5 runs per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Houston lost 19-8 to Spring Grove on Friday.

Houston saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dawson Pedretti, who fired off two home runs and six RBI while going 2-for-3. Those home runs marked the first that Pedretti has launched this season. Morgan Rohweder was another, going 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

Meanwhile, Rushford-Peterson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 17-13 hit to the loss column at the hands of La Crescent. On the bright side, the 13- run performance marked the Trojans' highest-scoring contest to date.

Rushford-Peterson's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Houston, their loss dropped their record down to 5-8.
