After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Manchester Valley, Hedgesville was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They were the clear victors by an 11-3 margin over the Liberty Lions. The Eagles not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since March 28th (when they won 27-6).

Chloe Frankhouser made a big impact no matter where she played. She tossed five innings while giving up three earned runs off only two hits. Frankhouser was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two runs.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Mayla Ortega, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI. Lexie Brown was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run.

Hedgesville was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .391. They are 5-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
