Volleyball Recap: Dugway Has No Trouble Against Wasatch Academy

Dugway's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Wasatch Academy Tigers with a sharp 3-0 victory. This was payback for the Mustangs, who suffered a 3-2 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-17, 25-23.

Gary Williams paced Dugway's offense, picking up 11 kills. Williams got some help from Cru Andrus and his 25 assists. Finally, Kevin Bullock kept Dugway's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

The win got Dugway back to even at 3-3. As for Wasatch Academy, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Coming up, Dugway will be playing in front of their home fans against Utah Military Academy - Camp Williams at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wasatch Academy, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against North Sanpete on the 26th.
