Soccer Recap: Charleston Takes a Loss

Charleston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 5-0 to the Rantoul Eagles. Charleston were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Rantoul apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2018.

Charleston's loss dropped their record down to 7-16. As for Rantoul, their victory ended a five-match drought on the road and puts them at 7-13-1.

Charleston does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Rantoul, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 10-1 defeat against Urbana on the 21st.
