Volleyball Recap: Argo Falls Short of Riverside-Brookfield in the Playoffs

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Argo couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Riverside-Brookfield Bulldogs on Tuesday.

Sebastian Pardol paced Argo's offense, picking up ten kills. Pardol got some help from Alexander Jakowicki and his 21 assists. Pardol was also solid from the service line: he led the team with five aces.

Argo's loss dropped their record down to 25-11. As for Riverside-Brookfield, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-13 record this season.

Argo does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Riverside-Brookfield, they will challenge Sandburg at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight.
