Volleyball Recap: West Stokes Comes Up Short

West Stokes was the 3-0 winner over Forbush when they last played one another back in December of 2020, but their luck changed this time around. The Wildcats fell 3-1 to the Falcons on Tuesday.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-21, 18-25, 25-16.

Karly Berrier was nothing short of spectacular for Forbush: she had 14 digs and three aces. That's the most aces Berrier has posted over her last nine games.

West Stokes has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season. As for Forbush, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. West Stokes will challenge rival East Surry at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Forbush is set to face off against their familiar foe Surry Central at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
