Volleyball Recap: Flower Mound Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Flower Mound can now relate to. They came up short against the Southlake Carroll Dragons on Tuesday, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Dragons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 back in August.

When it comes to explaining why Flower Mound lost, don't look at HAYDEN CURTIS. Despite the final result, she had eight digs and one block. CURTIS has been hot for a while, having also posted 25 or more assists the last 17 times she's played.

With the defeat, Flower Mound broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 36-9. As for Southlake Carroll, the win was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 33-5.
