Coronado and Christian are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2021, but not for long. The Islanders will venture away from home to square off against the Patriots at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Coronado is coming into the match hot, having won their last four games.

Coronado saw some tournament action on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over La Canada.

Meanwhile, Christian lost 3-0 to Cathedral Catholic on Thursday. The Patriots haven't had much luck with the Dons recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-15, 25-16.

Coronado's win bumped their record up to 28-4. As for Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 17-8.

Coronado took their victory against Christian when the teams last played back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Islanders since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
