Volleyball Recap: Lower Brule Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Lower Brule managed to slip by Sunshine Bible Academy the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Sioux lost 3-0 to the Crusaders on Tuesday. The Sioux were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Crusaders apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Lower Brule was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Sunshine Bible Academy work for it, especially in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-11, 29-27.

Lower Brule has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. As for Sunshine Bible Academy, their win bumped their record up to 4-7.

Looking ahead, Lower Brule will venture away from home to challenge Wessington Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sunshine Bible Academy, they will welcome Sully Buttes at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
