Football Game Preview: Platte/Geddes Black Panthers vs. Lyman Raiders

The Platte/Geddes Black Panthers will be playing at home against the Lyman Raiders on Thursday. Platte/Geddes will be strutting in after a victory while Lyman will be coming in after a loss.

On Friday, Platte/Geddes didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Corsica/Stickney, but they still walked away with a 28-22 win.

Meanwhile, Lyman faced Wall in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Raiders were beaten by the Eagles 55-0. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Raiders were not able to get on the board.

Lyman has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season. As for Platte/Geddes, their record is now 7-2.

Everything came up roses for Platte/Geddes against Lyman in their previous meeting back in September, as the squad secured a 64-28 victory. Do the Black Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Raiders turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
