Mt. Baker's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They blew past the Squalicum Storm 20-1. The Mountaineers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by eight runs or more this season.

Mt. Baker's win bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Squalicum, their defeat was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-12.

Looking ahead, Mt. Baker will face off against Blaine at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Borderites have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.9 runs per game on average), something the Mountaineers will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Squalicum, they will square off against Sedro-Woolley at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Cubs will roll in looking for their 13th straight victory, something the Storm surely won't give up without a fight.
