Football Game Preview: FAMU DRS Baby Rattlers vs. Wewahitchka Gators

The FAMU DRS Baby Rattlers will venture away from home to take on the Wewahitchka Gators at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. FAMU DRS has given up an average of 38.9 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Friday, FAMU DRS took a blow against North Florida Christian, falling 49-12.

Meanwhile, Wewahitchka was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were outmatched by Franklin County and fell 51-20. The Gators were up 14-0 in the first quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.

Wewahitchka's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for FAMU DRS, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.

FAMU DRS came up short against Wewahitchka in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, falling 40-30. Can the Baby Rattlers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
