Basketball Recap: Lansing Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Lansing duked it out with De Soto on Tuesday. The Lansing Lions took a blow against the De Soto Wildcats, falling 73-36. The Lions haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Lansing's defeat dropped their record down to 2-15-1. As for De Soto, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lansing will venture away from home to square off against Turner at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. Lansing is facing Turner at the right time seeing as Turner is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for De Soto, they will head out to challenge Leavenworth on Friday.
