Basketball Recap: Cimarron Comes Up Short

Cimarron lost a heartbreaker to Springer when they met back in February of 2024, and they left with a heavy heart again on Tuesday. The Cimarron Rams took a 56-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Springer Red Devils. The Rams have struggled against the Red Devils recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Cimarron's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Springer, they pushed their record up to 16-6 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Cimarron and New Mexico School for the Deaf will face off at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played. As for Springer, they will venture away from home to face off against Roy Municipal School at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
