Captain Shreve has no trouble against Woodlawn-Shreveport

Recap: Captain Shreve Gators vs. Woodlawn-Shreveport Knights
The Captain Shreve Gators put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They enjoyed a cozy 40-23 victory over Woodlawn-Shreveport. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Captain Shreve also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2022.
Captain Shreve can attribute much of their success to Jyrin Sowell, who scored 16 points along with 9 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Marcus Lofton, who scored 8 points.
Captain Shreve's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Woodlawn-Shreveport, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.
Captain Shreve will head out on the road to face off against Eleanor McMain at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Louisiana (Eleanor McMain is ranked 93rd, while Captain Shreve is ranked 71st). As for Woodlawn-Shreveport, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Oberlin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Oberlin comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
