South Anchorage came out on top against Juneau-Douglas on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run third inning. The Wolverines walked away with an 8-5 win over the Crimson Bears. The victory continues a trend for the Wolverines in their matchups with the Crimson Bears: they've now won three in a row.

The team relied heavily on Danica Hacking, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Emma Boin was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

South Anchorage's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Juneau-Douglas, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.
