Softball Recap: Woodbridge Takes a Loss

After flying high against Forest Park last Friday, Woodbridge came back down to earth. The Vikings fell 11-6 to the Hylton Bulldogs on Friday. The Vikings were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bulldogs earlier this season, when they won 14-7.

Bobbi Tate was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI. Alyssa Casselle was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one double.

Woodbridge's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Hylton, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Woodbridge nor Hylton have any future games scheduled.
