Football Recap: Beckman Wins Going Away Against Woodbridge

Beckman was handed a heart-breaking three-point defeat in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Woodbridge on Friday. The Patriots blew past the Warriors 35-14. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Patriots also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Noah Nam had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 54 yards and three TDs on only five carries, and also threw for 240 yards and a pair of touchdowns. What's more, he racked up 120.7 passer rating, the most he's had since back in October of 2024. Makhi Czaykowski was another key player, gaining 217 total yards.

Another reason for the win was Beckman's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Zak Hazboun, Sawyer Nickelson, and Skyeler Knight, who each picked up one sack apiece.

Beckman's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Woodbridge, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Beckman and Woodbridge will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Patriots see the field they'll take on Fullerton at 7:00 p.m. on October 3. As for Woodbridge, their break will end when they face Portola at 7:00 p.m. on October 3.
