Jeremiah Nicholson posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Thursday. He rushed for 201 yards and a pair of TDs while picking up 11.8 yards per carry, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 65 yards.

Coming up, Nicholson and Elgin will be playing at home against Bastrop at 7:30 p.m. on the 24th. The game will pit Nicholson up against the Bears' star RB Gary Jefferson Jr..
