Volleyball Recap: Manteca Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Manteca had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Mountain House Mustangs by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 back in September.

The victory didn't come easy: Mountain House scored at least 21 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 27-25, 22-25, 25-21.

Manteca's win bumped their record up to 14-8. As for Mountain House, their loss ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-6.

Manteca and Mountain House should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. The Buffaloes (ranked 358th) will meet East Union (ranked 990th) at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Mountain House will take on Patterson at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (509 vs. 1300).
