Baseball Recap: Piqua Takes a Loss

Piqua's last matchup with Troy could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Friday. The Indians lost 12-0 to the Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 on Wednesday.

Piqua is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-10. As for Troy, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season.

Piqua will face off against Shawnee at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Troy, they will square off against Springboro at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
