Baseball Recap: Amherst-Pelham Regional Comes Up Short

Amherst-Pelham Regional lost against Frontier Regional back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Hurricanes lost 12-3 to the Red Hawks. The Hurricanes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Amherst-Pelham Regional saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Derek Gromacki, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2.

Amherst-Pelham Regional's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Frontier Regional, their win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-1.

Coming up, Amherst-Pelham Regional will welcome Chicopee at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Frontier Regional, they will square off against Turners Falls at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
