Basketball Game Recap: Osborne Bulldogs vs. Hodgeman County Longhorns

If the Osborne Bulldogs were feeling good off their 57-37 takedown of the Victoria Knights on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Osborne took a 53-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of Hodgeman County on Friday.

Among those leading the charge was Owen Reece, who dropped a double-double on 29 points and 12 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Hodgeman County's points. Hazen Rydquist was another key contributor, scoring 10 points along with 5 rebounds.

Osborne's loss dropped their record down to 2-1. As for Hodgeman County, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Osborne will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Victoria. Hopefully Victoria focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Friday. As for Hodgeman County, they will head out on the road to face off against Ness City at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
