Basketball Recap: Sanford-Fritch Takes a Loss

Sanford-Fritch was the 47-40 winner over Vega when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Sanford-Fritch Eagles fell 44-37 to the Vega Longhorns on Friday. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sanford-Fritch's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Vega, their win bumped their record up to 5-22.

Coming up, Sanford-Fritch will welcome Gruver at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Gruver will roll in looking for their 16th straight victory, something Sanford-Fritch surely won't give up without a fight. As for Vega, they will challenge Sunray at 6:15 p.m. on Monday.
