Basketball Game Preview: North Creek Jaguars vs. Stadium Tigers

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the North Creek Jaguars duke it out with the Stadium Tigers at 2:00 p.m. on Monday... The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (North Creek has four straight wins, Stadium has seven straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Saturday, everything came up roses for North Creek against Nathan Hale as the team secured a 70-18 victory. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 50-6.

North Creek relied on the efforts of Seirat Bhullar, who almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine rebounds, and Grace Pinder, who went 8 of 13 on her way to 18 points and five rebounds. That's the most rebounds Pinder has posted since back in December of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of Ahlam Mohamud, who posted eight points.

Meanwhile, Stadium lost to Jefferson on the road by a 46-32 margin on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 284th, while the Raiders are ranked 118th).

Stadium's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for North Creek, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.
