Mt. Gilead won the last time they faced Grove City Christian and things went their way on Friday too. The Indians enjoyed a cozy 21-7 victory over the Eagles. The score was all tied up 7-7 at the break, but the Indians were the (much) better team in the second half.

Mt. Gilead's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Grove City Christian, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Mt. Gilead and Grove City Christian will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Indians will take on rival Danville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Grove City Christian is set to challenge their familiar foe Bishop Rosecrans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
