Football Recap: King William Skates Past John Marshall with Ease

After low-scoring totals in their previous three matchup, King William brought some dynamite into their most recent contest. They took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 62-14 win over the John Marshall Justices. With the Cavaliers ahead 62-8 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Leading King William to victory were K'Sean Hill and Daniel Holmes. Hill rushed for 82 yards and one touchdown, while Holmes rushed for 47 yards and a pair of scores. The dominant performance also gave Hill a new career-high in passer rating (176.4). Jawon Thomas was in the mix as well, providing King William with one TD.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: King William was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 258 rushing yards. They are a perfect 3-0 when they've run for more than 200 yards.

King William didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Stevie Walton and Tyler Newbill. Walton got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

The victory got King William back to even at 3-3. As for John Marshall, they dropped their record down to 0-5 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.
