Softball Game Preview: Atlantic Christian Sharks vs. American Heritage

The Atlantic Christian Sharks will look to defend their home field on Friday against the American Heritage Stallions at 3:00 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

On Thursday, Atlantic Christian came out on top against Atlantic by a score of 18-5 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game).

Atlantic Christian got a massive performance out of Mia Colon, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Alexis Farrah, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

Meanwhile, American Heritage got the win against Lake Worth on Thursday by a conclusive 21-4.

Victoria Kovic was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Briyanna Dodin, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

American Heritage always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .656. The last time their OBP was this high was back in February of 2024.

The victory got American Heritage back to even at 1-1. As for Atlantic Christian, the win also got them back to even at 1-1.
