Baseball Game Preview: Noxubee County Tigers vs. Enterprise Bulldogs

For the first time this season, Noxubee County will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup on Tuesday. They will host the Enterprise Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Noxubee County is headed into Tuesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their eighth straight game dating back to last season on Saturday. They came up short against Calhoun City, falling 20-0.

Meanwhile, Enterprise was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 16-1 to West Lauderdale.

Enterprise saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Henry Powell, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one RBI. That triple marked the first that Powell hit this season.

Noxubee County's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Enterprise, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8.

Noxubee County might still be hurting after the 22-0 loss they got from Enterprise when the teams last played back in March of 2024. Can Noxubee County avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
