Volleyball Recap: Cummings Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Cummings lost against Person on September 15th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cavaliers lost 3-0 to the Rockets.

The final score came out to 25-2, 25-5, 25-2.

Leading Person to victory were Kaiden Hawkins and Addison Martin. Hawkins had eight assists and four aces, while Martin had four aces. Those four aces gave Martin a new career-high. Lilly Atkins also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.

Cummings' loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Person, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Cummings will take on rival Western Alamance at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Person is set to square off against their familiar foe Southern Alamance at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
