Baseball Recap: South Lakes Comes Up Short

South Lakes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Pinewood Prep Panthers.

South Lakes' defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Pinewood Prep, their victory bumped their record up to 19-4.

Coming up, South Lakes will take on Hickory H at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pinewood Prep, they will venture away from home to challenge Wilson Hall at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers are facing the Barons at the right time seeing as the Barons are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
