Softball Game Preview: Animo Bunche Stallions vs. Central City Value Jaguars

Animo Bunche hasn't had much luck against Central City Value recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Stallions will venture away from home to square off against the Jaguars at 1:00 p.m. Animo Bunche has given up an average of 17.8 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Animo Bunche took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They put the hurt on Downtown Magnets with a sharp 30-21 win. Considering the Stallions have won three matchups by more than eight runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Central City Value couldn't beat Orthopaedic on Thursday even though they stacked ten runs on them in the fifth inning. The Jaguars fell just short of the Vipers by a score of 17-15. The Jaguars' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Central City Value's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Animo Bunche, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-5.

Animo Bunche suffered a grim 28-11 defeat to Central City Value in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Can the Stallions avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
