Soccer Recap: Mountain Ridge Takes a Loss

Mountain Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Corner Canyon Chargers. That's two games in a row now that Mountain Ridge have lost by just one goal.

Mountain Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Corner Canyon, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Mountain Ridge will challenge rival Salt Lake Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Corner Canyon is set to face off against their familiar foe Bingham at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
