Football Recap: Station Camp Takes a Loss

Station Camp was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 37-36 heartbreaker at the hands of the Hendersonville Commandos. The Bison lost against the Commandos in their previous head to head back in September of 2020, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 49-0 score last time.

Although Station Camp took the loss, they still got scores from Eric Ginther, Colton Overbey, Cayden Moore, Luca Gilbert, and Jameer Alexander.

Station Camp's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Hendersonville, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Station Camp will head out to square off against Hunters Lane at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bison will be up against the Warriors' rather soft defense (which has allowed 40.5 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Hendersonville, they will head out on the road to challenge Shelbyville Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Commandos will be up against the Golden Eagles' rather soft defense (which has allowed 27.63 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
