Football Recap: Randolph-Henry Statesmen vs. Amelia County Raiders
Randolph-Henry was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 28-21 to the Amelia County Raiders. The Statesmen were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Raiders apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.
Despite the defeat, Randolph-Henry had strong showings from Jamere Gray, who threw for 179 yards and a pair of TDs on only 17 passes, and Cameron Sizemore, who gained 125 total yards.
Randolph-Henry now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Amelia County, their win ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-3.
