Soccer Game Preview: Sun Valley Magnet vs. Burbank

The Sun Valley Magnet Pioneers will challenge the Burbank Bulldogs at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Sun Valley Magnet's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They blew past Valor Academy 4-0. It was an even better day for Christopher Diaz as he scored three goals for his team.

Meanwhile, Burbank waltzed into their contest on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They put the hurt on the Apaches with a sharp 4-0 win. Considering the Bulldogs have won four matchups by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Burbank has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-1-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 23 goals over those eight contests. As for Sun Valley Magnet, they pushed their record up to 5-4-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.
