Football Recap: Mchenry's Losing Streak Snapped at Six Games

There's no place like home for McHenry, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They secured a 20-14 W over the Crystal Lake Central Tigers on Friday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Warriors as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.

Ethan Dietmeyer was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 109 yards and one score on only 13 carries. Those 109 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

Dietmeyer was just one part of a punishing run game: McHenry was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 210 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 169 rushing yards in three consecutive games.

McHenry's win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Crystal Lake Central, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-9.

As of now, neither McHenry nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
