Football Game Preview: Davidson Warriors vs. Rain Red Raiders + How To Watch

The Davidson Warriors will face off against the Rain Red Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Neither Davidson nor Rain posted many points in their last games, so it might be the defenses that decide this one.

Davidson's offense might be in the hot seat on Thursday considering what happened against Mary G. Montgomery on Friday. They had to suffer through a 49-0 loss at the hands of the Vikings. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Vikings recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Meanwhile, Rain lost to Vigor at home by a 22-6 margin on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Red Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama football rankings (they are ranked 127th, while the Wolves are ranked 44th).

Davidson now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Rain, they now also have a losing record of 4-5.

Davidson didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Rain in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, but they still walked away with a 46-42 win.
