Volleyball Game Preview: Cheney Blackhawks vs. Shadle Park Highlanders + How To Watch

The Cheney Blackhawks are taking a road trip to challenge the Shadle Park Highlanders at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Cheney is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.

Cheney lost 3-0 to Ridgeline on Tuesday.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-14, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Shadle Park came up short against Mt. Spokane on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Highlanders in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost six in a row.

Shadle Park was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-22, 25-17.

Cheney's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Shadle Park, their loss dropped their record down to 4-9.

Cheney beat Shadle Park 3-1 when the teams last played back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Blackhawks since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
